Jefferson Local Schools Appoints Dr. Isabel Bozada-Jones as Director of Academics and Pathways
West Jefferson, OH – Jefferson Local Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Isabel Bozada-Jones as the district’s new Director of Academics and Pathways. Dr. Bozada-Jones brings over a decade of experience in instructional leadership, curriculum development, and educational advocacy to the district.
An accomplished educator and administrator, Dr. Bozada-Jones most recently served as the Coordinator of State and Federal Programs/MTSS for Reynoldsburg City Schools. In that role, she successfully managed over $2 million in evidence-based programming and spearheaded the design of districtwide multi-tiered systems of support to personalize instruction for all students.
"I have dedicated my career to serving children and communities," said Dr. Bozada-Jones. "I am ready to apply these diverse experiences as part of a team dedicated to excellence for every student within the district".
Throughout her career, Dr. Bozada-Jones has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to innovation and "deeper learning". Her professional milestones include:
STEM Advocacy: Led the committee that earned the first concurrent STEM and STEAM school designation in the state of Ohio.
Fiscal Stewardship: Shifted millions of dollars in underutilized funds toward high-quality, data-proven programs to accelerate student learning.
Strategic Growth: Secured over $280,000 in grants to support initiatives ranging from Project Lead the Way to global citizenship and social-emotional learning.
Dr. Bozada-Jones holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from The Ohio State University. She also maintains her Superintendent Licensure and Ohio 5-Year Professional Principal and Early Childhood licenses.
Beyond the classroom and district office, Dr. Bozada-Jones is a recognized voice in the educational community. She has served as an ASCD Emerging Leader, a member of the Ohio Department of Education Committee of Practitioners, and a frequent contributor to EdSurge.
