Kids LOVE to receive mail so this summer Norwood Elementary is participating in a new program called Kids Read Now. Students in grades K through 4 will be self selecting 9 books here at school with their teacher before leaving for the summer. The first book will be mailed to you with parent directions on how to record the book you read and to receive the next book. Students will be reading and recording the books all summer. The books will come with discussion questions and activities you can complete with your child. All the books that the students receive they get to KEEP and this is no cost to parents!! When the students return to school in the fall, they will be recognized for reading their books. They will receive a certificate and a prize.
