The Jefferson Local Special Education Department is committed to providing a comprehensive and seamless continuum of high-quality services for students with disabilities that facilitate students' academic and social/emotional growth. We are currently serving more than 100 students with disabilities through Individual Education Programs under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEIA) and Section 504 Plans under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
