Our Commitment to Students: 5-Year Strategic Plan

Jefferson Local Schools' Strategic Plan is a roadmap that will guide the district's work over the next five years. Built around a shared commitment to students, the plan reflects the voices of families, staff, students, and community members and will help guide decisions, priorities, and investments as the district continues moving forward.

Building the Plan Together

The Strategic Plan was developed through months of collaboration and community engagement. The process began in December 2025 with strategic planning consultants and included a 25-member steering committee, planning sessions, focus groups, and a districtwide survey. More than 934 parents, staff members, students, and community stakeholders shared feedback that helped shape the district's future. Throughout the process, one message remained clear: students must remain at the center of everything we do. That shared vision became the foundation for our mission and the strategic priorities that will guide our work over the next five years.
