What is an Earned Income Tax?

Earned Income Tax is limited to only wages and salaries and other compensation from self employment of the residents in the school district.  The Earned Income Tax excludes all other types of income and deductions that are included in the traditional income tax (interest, dividends, capital gains, retirement income, workers compensation, etc).
