Hello Roughrider Fans
We are updating you on a project that will be taking place in the near future. West Jefferson Athletics has had so much success over many years that we are running out of room for Championship pictures, HOF (Hall of Fame) plaques, and All-State plaques. This is a great problem to have, but it has nevertheless become an issue of space.
We all love and enjoy looking at the past pictures and plaques, so we have been working on a way to capture that spirit while moving toward a digital recognition board. This board will be able to capture and honor the past while current teams add to the rich athletic history. This digital board will allow fans to access these on a touch screen TV and on their devices by scanning a QR code. Also, we will be adding athletic boards that will display the names of All-State Players and HOF Members.
Over winter break, the plaques will be taken down to begin digitization and prepare for the new athletic boards. All plaques will be scanned and stored. We will keep you updated on the progress of moving to the new digital recognition board.
We understand this will be a change for all of us, but we are excited to honor the past while continuing to build future success. Thank you for your continued support.
