Extensive Background Check - Overnight Volunteers

If you have not lived in Ohio continuously over the last five years, you will need an FBI Background Check.

If you are volunteering to chaperone an overnight event, you will need an FBI/BCI Background Check for a $55 fee.

Please review the information below before making an appointment.

  1. You must provide valid photo identification (driver's license or state ID card)

  2. It may take up to 30 days for your background check to be completed.

  3. To make an appointment at the Madison County Sheriff's Office in London. Call for hours 740-852-1212

When scheduling either of these background checks, select the FBI/BCI option.
