Welcome to West Jefferson High School Library. Once our middle school is finished (expected in December), our library will serve the 6th-12th grade students in the Jefferson Local Schools. Our collection contains more than 10,000 books, subscriptions to more than 30 periodicals, and numerous video and audio materials. We are fortunate to be located in the brand new West Jefferson High School, directly across the hall from the auditeria. Our library is one of the showpieces of the building, with beautiful large windows for natural lighting in our comfy reading area, and a contemporary, open floor plan allowing plenty of space for classes.

Welcome to the Norwood Elementary Library, serving West Jefferson kindergarten through 5th grade students. Like the high school media center, our collection contains nearly 10,000 books, as well as numerous subscriptions, and audio visual materials. We are located in the brand new Norwood Elementary School, just inside the main door. (Visitors: please check in at the office first.) In addition to new computers, our puppets can be used to supplement stories and lessons. Our reading bench area is a great place for sharing books with students.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be at our school from February 13—February 22. We will be open daily from 7:15am-2:45pm, and we will remain open during conferences on Thursday, February 14th, until 8:15pm. Come explore our large selection of books and find great reads for the whole family! Proceeds go towards free books for the library, so you can feel good about purchasing from us!
