*Updated 8-5-21* Safe Return of In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan
Back to School Plan Update: The CDC requires all persons to wear masks on school buses.

The District has updated and posted its return to school plan with one change based on a legally mandated federal Order.   Specifically, the CDC has ordered that all persons are required to wear masks on all forms of District transportation, including school buses and vans.

On January 29, 2021, the CDC issued an Order requiring all persons, including passengers and drivers, to wear masks over the mouth and nose when traveling on conveyances, defined broadly to include school buses.  Further, the Order provides that all conveyance operators, including school districts, must require all persons onboard to wear masks for the duration of travel.  Finally, the Order requires school districts to use best efforts to ensure that every person on the school bus wear a mask when boarding, disembarking, and for the duration of travel.

The District appreciates the anticipated compliance of all passengers with this Order.

*Please note this revised plan will be voted on by the Board of Education on Monday, Aug 9th at their regular Board Meeting.
