The following information was released from Madison County Public Health over the weekend:  Beginning Monday, September 27, students and staff who make physical contact with a case of COVID-19 during the case’s infectious period will be required to quarantine at home.  Students and staff that have close contact with a case of COVID-19, but do not make physical contact, will be recommended to quarantine at home.  

This means only students and staff with physical contact will be required to quarantine.  Otherwise, those in close contact will be recommended but not required to quarantine.  This reflects what the school district's policy has been since the beginning of the year.  There is no change to our current policy.
