A school counseling program is designed to help develop productive and responsible community members by enhancing the academic, career, and personal/social development of students.

School counselors collaborate with staff and community resources in his/her work with students and their families.

School counselors are advocates for students. They are trained professionals who uphold ethical standards while implementing programs that promote and enhance student success. Counselor/student confidentiality is of utmost importance and will be broken only if a student is in danger of physically or emotionally harming themselves or others.
