To All Shaker Heights Schools Faculty and Staff:
Due to growing concern about the coronavirus outbreak, all District buildings will be closed Monday and will remain closed for at least three weeks. The distance learning preparation day scheduled for Monday, March 16 will now take place virtually.
You may pick up personal and professional items in your classrooms, offices or work spaces Monday, March 16 between 10 a.m and 1 p.m. This will be the only period of time buildings will be open. If you are not available during this time, please ask a colleague to pick up your items.
All faculty and staff, with the exception of essential employees (see attachment), are expected to work remotely from home. If you have a question about whether you should report, please contact your supervisor. Regular staff absence rules and policies apply.
