In light of the recent incident in Florida, many school districts have received threats on social media and other mediums. Our district also received such a threat, which was immediately reported to law enforcement. Law enforcement determined that the threat was not credible. However, we are taking all precautions to keep our students and staff safe. This includes increased police presence at our facilities and all visitors are now required to show their identification and state their purpose at the building call box before being allowed to enter.
Any and all future threats will be similarly investigated with law enforcement and appropriate actions will be taken as needed.
