Reading-Lunch Program 2017
This summer we want all Norwood students to plan to join Norwood teachers (and Coaches from the High School and Middle school) for sports fun! There will also be a free lunch and a reading activity included!
Scheduled activities at Norwood from 11-1.
Wed. June 14 at Norwood 11-1-Kickball Kickoff with Mr. Cutler-Subs from Subway
Wed. June 21 at NW 11-1 Volleyball with Coach Stanley, Spaghetti from Ann&Tony
Wed. June 28 at NW 11-1 Soccer with Coach Nichols, Flyer’s Pizza
Wed. July 5 at NW 11-1 Track with Coach Roe, Chicken Nuggets 
McDonald’s Meal
Wed. July 12 at Prairie Oaks Metro Park-St. Rte 142 (Prairie View Playground and Shelter)-11-1 Hiking/Cook out Mr. Morris/Mr. Hoenie (Drawings for 50 sets of 2 Tickets for Clipper's Game 7/19/17)
Wed. July 19 at NW Baseball with Coach Houk
Dunk Tank-Fri. Aug. 25 at Norwood for all Summer Readers!
Along with the sports fun, we will be reading together to stop the Summer Reading Slide. We will have special guest readers from the Crew, the Clippers and the Machine. West Jefferson´s Hurt Battelle Library will be there to sign up students for the Library programs and Norwood teachers will be there to read with the students! All students will be given a free lunch donated by a community restaurant! Summer Sports and Reading will be every Wed. June 14 -July 19 (from 11-1.)
