Student Schedules

Students attending West Jefferson Middle School have 9 periods in their day. Lunch is 5th period for all 8th graders and half of the 7th graders. Lunch is 6th period for all 6th graders and the other half of the 7th graders.

All 6th graders take:
Math
Language Arts
Science
Social Studies

They also have Homebase/Rider Focus during 4th and 5th periods. Their elective class is Band. Students not taking band will have a study hall. Students will also have Music, PE, Art, and Career Readiness, rotating classes each quarter.

All 7th graders take:
Math
Language Arts
Science
Ancient History

They also have Homebase during 4th period and Workshop during 5th or 6th period. Their elective classes are Band, Choir, Advanced Art, and Advanced Fitness. Students not taking an elective will have a study hall. Students will also have Computer, PE, Art, and Career Readiness, rotating classes each quarter.
